Upon signing the IPA/2018/395-379 agreement on 10.04.2018, of the EU-funded project “Networking and Advocacy for Green Economy” (NAGE), the Rural Development Network of Republic of Macedonia, as coordinator, in cooperation with the rural development networks from Croatia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo, all members of the Balkan Rural Development Network have started the process of implementation of project activities.

The overall objective of the project is to provide support to enhance the policy and decision-making impact of Balkan Rural Development Network and its constituents, through involvement in the agricultural and rural program and policy reform processes for introduction of the green economy concept.

The project activities will be implemented within period of 36 months on the territory of 7 Western Balkan countries.

In accordance with the project Workplan, (2) two Program Specific Trainings of Trainers (ToT) are envisioned covering the following topics:

– Training 1: “Advocacy, lobbying, networking and constituents empowerment”

– Training 2:”Green economy and entrepreneurship”

The period for trainings execution is in the middle of February (12-15 February, 2019) and middle of March (12-15 March, 2019). Both trainings will be held in Skopje and conducted in English. All costs related to the trainings will be covered by the project.

The Rural Development Network of Republic of Macedonia invites potential candidates for participants in the trainings. Maximum of 2 participants per training are envisioned. The candidates are allowed to send their candidacy for participation in both or in one of the trainings.

The interested candidates should fulfil the following requirements:

The candidate must come from CSO which is a member of the Rural Development Network of RM as the activity is designed to build capacities of grassroots CSOs ,which are members of the RDN of RM
adequate formal or informal education and/or experience in the topic(s);
previous experience in conducting trainings (optional)
solid knowledge of written and oral Engilsh

RDN of RM will conduct evaluation of applicants against the listed criteria and select the most suitable candidates. After completion of the TOT the trainers will be engaged to conduct trainings in the same topics and convey the acquired knowledge to rural grassroots CSOs in Republic of Macedonia.
