General Objective

The general objective of the project is to contribute to the specific objective of the call by increasing the influence and participation of rural civil society organisations in the development of public policies and decision-making processes.

This will be achieved by strengthening the capacities of rural CSOs in advocacy, lobbying, networking and understanding relevant policies and processes related to their work.

Specific Objective

To strengthen the capacities of rural CSOs for networking and advocacy, enabling them to influence decision-making processes at local level.

Expected Results

• Improved knowledge transfer among rural CSOs regarding rural challenges and decision-making processes.

• Strengthened management capacities of rural CSOs to lead rural development processes.

• Developed research and analytical capacities of rural CSOs.

• Facilitated and improved dialogue between rural CSOs and local and national authorities.
