Main Project Objective
The project aims to promote and create new tourism services in the Cross-Border Area (CBA), specifically designed for persons with disabilities, including physical, intellectual and mental disabilities.
Its goal is to increase the number of visitors to the region and contribute to social cohesion by integrating principles of social innovation. The project supports activities related to inclusive tourism, training, education and economic development in the cross-border area.
Specific Objectives
• To create activities adapted to the needs of children, teenagers and young adults with disabilities, as well as their families and companions.
• To equip staff with the skills needed to provide high-quality inclusive services.
• To upgrade the Nymphaeum Mountain Centre, setting a new standard for accessibility in rural tourism infrastructure.
• To increase the attractiveness of Ohrid and surrounding locations by positioning them as inclusive tourism destinations that promote local cultural and natural potential.
• To present the project as a model for accessible rural tourism.
