On July 7, 2022, representatives of USAID’s Community Development Program are part of a Collaboration, Learning and Adapting event organized by USAID’s Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Project, implemented by the company Indago. The event was dedicated to community engagement in local actions organized by USAID-supported projects.

Stole Georgiev and Sasho Popovski, as representatives of the Program and LAG Plackovica and LAG Belasica Ograzden, shared with the audience their experiences, challenges, solutions, and good practices for implementing so-called ‘quick wins’ within the Community Development Program as well as for mobilizing the local community and the involvement of various stakeholders in the implementation of local actions.

During the event, the attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the sustainability of local actions and the results that will come from them in the future, how to measure the level of involvement of stakeholders in local actions using modern tools and methods, and similar.

Namely, the Community Development Program is supported by USAID and implemented by the Rural Development Network of North Macedonia in partnership with 5 Local Action Groups (LAG).
