It places the community at the centre of decision-making and the creation of development priorities. As a strong supporter of the LEADER methodology, the Network actively works to strengthen and develop Local Action Groups (LAGs) in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our support includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Establishment and consolidation of LAGs<\/strong> \u2013 support in organising partnerships between the public, private and civil society sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Training and capacity building<\/strong> \u2013 training in management, planning, leadership, communication and financing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Development of local strategies (CLLD)<\/strong> \u2013 encouraging the participation of local stakeholders in creating strategies for sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Networking and exchange of good practices<\/strong> \u2013 connecting with national and European LEADER initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Technical support for implementation<\/strong> \u2013 administrative, project-related and coordination support for LAGs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through the application of the LEADER approach, self-sustaining local structures are created that develop their own potential and initiatives, strengthening the rural economy and community cohesion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LEADER is a European model for local development based on the \u201cbottom-up\u201d principle.
