General Objective<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The general objective of the project is to identify, support and launch new businesses in the agri-food sector with innovative potential, which can serve as multipliers of the region\u2019s advantages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specific Objectives<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 To promote opportunities and career paths in the agri-food sector among young entrepreneurs
\u2022 To identify innovative business ideas that can make use of the region\u2019s potential
\u2022 To train highly qualified professionals in specific agri-food areas
\u2022 To support young entrepreneurs in overcoming barriers when starting a business
\u2022 To provide training in strategic, financial, marketing and management skills
\u2022 To launch 10 new businesses in the sector<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Main Activities and Results<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Information sessions about the project and the call for participation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Four information sessions were organised in Gevgelija, Valandovo, Bogdanci and Strumica to present the project objectives and the call for innovative business ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Training on EU regulations for food health and safety<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A three-day training was held from 3 to 5 July 2023, covering EU regulations, HACCP, ISO 22000 and the implementation of food safety management systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the training, participants visited the Mabi Trade canning factory in Strumica to see the practical application of the HACCP system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Training in strategic and financial management, marketing and promotion, resource and inventory management, monitoring and analysis<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two-day trainings were organised in Dojran from 12 to 14 October and from 19 to 21 October 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim was to provide young entrepreneurs with practical skills for starting and developing a business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
