A meeting of the RDN Thematic Group on Social Inclusion, the Subgroup for Rural Youth, was organized in Skopje on 26 October. About 20 representatives of the civil society organizations – members of the RDN of NM, discussed the possibilities for employment of young people in rural areas. Information was shared about numerous activities and projects being implemented in the country aimed at supporting young people to start their own businesses. Within the conclusions of the meeting were defined recommendations for young people in rural areas that include greater investment by the youth in expanding their knowledge and skills in order to be more productive in social and economic life, as well as greater activity and monitoring of self-employment measures for Start Up businesses and other measures in their personal benefit and development.
