The EU funded project “Networking and Advocacy for Green Economy – NAGE” organized a training on “Green Economy and Entrepreneurship” for representatives of CSOs from the western part of N. Macedonia, which took place from 5 to 7 February 2020, at Hotel Drim in Struga.

The main focus of this training was defining and clarifying the concepts of green economy and entrepreneurship, the role of the CSOs in promoting green economy, assessment of green economy in different industries and developing action plan for green business. The goal of the training was to strengthen the capacities of CSOs and the potentials of its members on this current topic, in order to become advocates for introduction of green economy in national agriculture and rural development legislation. This training was primarily intended for smaller CSOs from rural areas whose focus is on sustainable development of rural areas.

The training was financially supported by the Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (SWG) in SEE.
