‘Honey Fair Struga 2018’ will traditionally be held for the fourth time between 03 and 05 August 2018 at the City Square in Struga. Large number of experienced and renowned bee keepers from across the country, as well as from the neighboring countries of Albania, Serbia and Bulgaria take part at this fair, offering honey and other bee products. This means that the best quality honey and bee products from this region will be offered during the fair.
This fair is as excellent opportunity for bee keepers to present their production, and for lovers of honey to taste, select and purchase top quality varieties of honey and bee products which are healthy food and cure for the human body. Also the fair is an opportunity to offer bee equipment and other materials for bee keeping, as well as exchange of experience and knowledge among bee keepers.
At the same time, the fair contributes to enhancing the tourist offer in Struga and an opportunity for development of rural tourism in the Struga region.
The event is organized within the project ‘ORGANIC FARM – Rural cohesion for increased potential of rural tourism and sustainable economic rural development’, implemented by the Association Creative Centre Rurbankult – Struga and the Association of Bee keepers MATICA 2012 – Struga. This project is supported within the programme for small grants ‘National Rural Parliament as a Voice of the Rural Population’, implemented by CNVP, RDN of RM and AkRRa, funded by the European Union.
