The project “National Rural Parliament as a voice of rural citizens – NDP”, funded by the European Union, during May / June 2017 will organize 8 one-day meetings for civil society organizations working in the field of rural development, in each of the planning regions of the Republic of Macedonia.

The purpose of these meetings is to identify active civil society organizations working in the field of rural development, to exchange experiences and to discuss opportunities for their active participation in creation of policies related to rural development.

The first meeting is scheduled for:

  • May 30, starting at 11:00 at hotel “Gogov”, Pehcevo. The meeting is intended for civil society organizations from the East planning region (Berovo, Vinica, Delchevo, Zrnovci, Karbinci, Kocani, Makedonska Kamenica, Pehchevo, Probistip, Cheshinovo-Obleshevo, Stip).

Based on the previously identified needs and constraints of CSOs from rural areas, the “National Rural Parliament as a voice of rural citizens – NRP” project is designed to strengthen the civil society’s impact on local and national policies related to rural development. This will be achieved by increasing the capacity of rural civil society organizations for networking and advocacy in order to influence decision-making processes and contribute to strategic partnership with local and national authorities.

All CSOs who are interested in participating in any of the meetings, please report your participation to: zg.akrra@yahoo.com

We expect you!
