Within the framework of the project Farm to Fork Academy for Green Western Balkans - Our shared European future, a national training on sustainable agriculture and rural development was organized.
The two-day training was held in Dojran and aimed to share the knowledge gained at the first training of trainers related to agroecology, sustainable agriculture, sustainable horticultural production, the adoption of organic agriculture for sustainable food systems and the application of circular economy in agriculture.
These events for capacity building and advancement of skills and knowledge at the national and local level will continue in the future with the aim of transforming agriculture with a focus on sustainable practices in conjunction with sustainable rural development of communities.
The event is part of the regional project "Farm to Fork Academy for Green Western Balkans - Our shared European future" financed by the European Union and jointly implemented by the national rural development networks of the six countries of the Western Balkans and Croatia, as well as the Balkan Rural Development Network.
