Rural Development Network of North Macedonia, for the purpose of the project IDEAS - Project co-funded by the European Union and national funds of the participating countries, implemented under the Interreg IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme “Greece – Republic of North Macedonia 2014-2020, has an open call for submission of applications for selection of External Expertise and Services with experience in providing one on one mentoring in the sectors of tourism. The support themes will be decided upon specific assessment. Indicatively may include business plan development, client base development, branding, administration monitoring etc.
The main objectives of this call are:
- Conduct specific assessment of providers of accommodation in order to determine their needs in order to define the specific themes of support
- Design of tailored curricula for mentorship and counselling based on the determined specific needs (indicative: Understanding the Concept of Rural Tourism, Market Research, Infrastructure and Amenities, Ecotourism and Sustainability, Marketing and Promotion, Networking and Partnership, Safety and Security, Regulatory Compliance and Adapt to changing trends).
- Development of content and materials for mentorship course program based on the determined specific needs (indicative: Understanding the Concept of Rural Tourism, Market Research, Infrastructure and Amenities, Ecotourism and Sustainability, Marketing and Promotion, Networking and Partnership, Safety and Security, Regulatory Compliance and Adapt to changing trends).
- Realization of one individual on-site mentorship session to at least 5 local providers of accommodation, and one joint training for at least 5 providers of accommodation, that follow the developed curricula (Outcome 1) and content (Outcome 2).
- Provide tailored manual to the supported accommodation providers.
